Taking the Journey with Steve Bennett

Steve Bennett is one of Eclipse Recording Company's first Clients, and now a true friend. Steve first picked up a guitar at age 12, and has been writing hundreds of songs since. Steve Plays on our Christmas CD every year, where the proceeds go to benefit the "Empty Stocking Fund".

"I love it here!" Says Stephen Lynch

For a day job, Stephen is a U.S. Department of Defense Civilian official stationed in Washington D.C.

Stephen is inspired by life experiences, and "my lady Terri, spanning back 25 years, she has a lot to do with it." He says (smiling) "I love it here, if only I could quit my government job in Washington, and live here and make music in Saint Augustine, it would redirect my life."

"Gove Scrivenor- A Music Legend, and Dave Besley at Eclipse today, with Ray Lewis!

Eclipse was excited to have Gove and Dave in the Studio performing together, on a song called "See You Later."

Gove has performed with music greats like Delbert McClinton, Jimmy Buffett, John Prine, Nanci Griffith and he was nominated for an Emmy for his performance with The Amazing Rhythm Aces on the popular PBS television show Austin City Limits.

Gove said on the topic of recording at Eclipse, "It's wonderful! I was totally relaxed, Jim is wonderful to work with, I had a ball, I want to do it again."

Kelly Bello in the Studio, For her sisters Wedding!

We had Kelly Bello at Eclipse on Wednesday, according to Jim Stafford "She sang magnificently!"

Her song was by Rascal Flatts, the song called, "Bless the Broken Road", and with plenty of time before her sisters wedding on the 25th.

"David Eli Grimes" getting a positive response from Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!

Eclipse was pleased to have Eli Grimes back in the Studio yesterday, his many upcoming projects are really picking up speed.

Eli came in yesterday to record "Rock and Roll Backwards", The idea for this song came about at a football game, he noticed the song "R & R Train", and only because he suffers from dyslexia, could he find it so interesting, to think of this song "Rock & Roll Backwards"

Eli has been writing songs for 25 years, and has worked with many other musicians, including the very talented, Kurt Johnston.

He also has recorded memorable others including,

-"Zip Code to Heaven"
-"The Homeless Dance"

Eli is still waiting on a response from Hallmark, the Daytona 500, and others, he already received positive response from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, for "Rock and Roll Backwards."

Jim Stafford, owner and engineer of Eclipse has only great things to say about Mr. Grimes, adding that "Eli is positive, unselfish, and always creating for a cause."

Eli has been a part of other organizations such as, Big Brother, and also

"All in the Atmosphere": It is a quote by Einstein, Addison Fitzgerald's photography studio, the beach......the universe and how I see it."


How was your experience recording at Eclipse?
"It's all in the atmosphere! Jim was attentive, professional, easy going, and just great to work with!"
