Eddie Pickett joins Eclipse from Georgia!

Eddie Pickett (above) traveled here from Jekyll Island, Georgia to work with Dave Besley (below) on a CD, 20 years in the making.

This Saturday at the Plaza, you won’t want to miss it!

On December 12th, (this Saturday) Eclipse will be holding its 1st Annual Holiday Concert in the Plaza. It will feature 4 of the 24 acts on the CD.

The Concert will start at 1pm and end just prior to the Regatta Boat Parade on the Matanzas Bayfront.

The Lineup is:

1pm- Saltwater Cowgirls
2pm- Anastasia Spiecker
3pm- Big Pineapple
4pm- Mullet Run

Karen Leslie (massage therapist, Photographer) one of the vendors in the plaza this month, has agreed to help with the sale of the Christmas CD for the entire month of December. She will have a table set up right next to the Eclipse Table with all sorts of things you can buy including all past Christmas CD’s. All proceeds will benefit the Empty Stocking Fund.

We would like everyone to know that Song #21. “It’s Almost Christmas” was written by Brian Washburn with Joe Feloni. It was improperly credited on the first run of this CD.

Rob Bulmer sings for his 4 daughters at Eclipse!

L and L entertainment has brought us yet another very talented musician. His name is Rob Bulmer (pictured below)

Rob won a contest held at Timuquana Liquors by L and L. He won first place out of 100 contestants. Kelly (pictured below) says, “It is the best place in town to have fun with karaoke!” Rob’s prize was a full demo CD at Eclipse Recording Company. he says, “I just want to immortalize my voice.” This demo will be a Christmas gift to his four daughters (and family):

The St. Augustine High School Jazz Combo in the studio…………

The St. Augustine High School Jazz Band recorded music to submit to a contest for Downbeat Magazine. Mr. Davenport, their band director is also pictured here.

Jack Pierson, the president of the St. Augustine Jazz Society says, “I work with different schools in the area and I heard how advanced the St. Augustine High School Jazz Band was and was happy to get involved, I think they qualify right along with a lot of groups around the country.”
