Joann Turnage got her start singing early on in a trio with her 2 sisters, they sang in Church. She moved on to sing with the Sunnyland Gospel Band. She has been featured on the radio, as well as TV in the Orlando/Jacksonville area, with the Stanley Brothers. Music runs in her family, her brother plays the electric guitar and almost her entire family sings.
